How about the numerous ‘natives’ of the country (of whom I know many) who were born and bred in the UK, have no Irish or other ‘foreign’ lineage, and are NOT Catholic to boot who disagree with a lot of what goes on in this country with regards to foreign policy, the monarchy and the ruling classes and who are quite ashamed of some of the darker periods of Britain’s colourful and sometimes great history?
