Ryan, Ryan, Ryan, OMG The word hun relates to a race of people, so therefore can be classed as racist, The word fenian relates to people of various religions and countries of birth, so how can it be racist, lololol, I have no need to rewrite History, I was taught it at school, where I was also taught the basics of all major religions, Can you say the same ?

If celtic made such dramatic steps to cut out racism, why are anti british songs and slogans heard before during and after every celtic game, May I remind you that Rangers were also found not guilty by UEFA, I see you have neglected to respond to all of my posts and have only allowed one to be published Phil, Do you have no response to them, It really is quite sad Phil that you have no answer to my posts but prefer to lie to people and say they are abusive, you are a sad excuse for a man, I weep for your children

William,

A wee bit confusion reigning here. You don't consider Fenian to be a sectarian term, but you condemn the use of the word Hun?!?

With regards to the Mark Walters incident:-

The sickening Mark Walters incident you refer to was roundly CONDEMNED by various supporters groups and the club itself. Various anti-racism and anti-fascist groups were set up by supporters clubs, many of which still run to this day. Thankfully this shameful incident was a one-off and the likes haven’t been seen since. (cut & pasted from another of my replies).

There you go again with your Papist conspiracies. Catholic UEFA observers, Hitler's homeland(!), agendas, etc.

You say Celtic were investigated by UEFA. True. What was the outcome? Rangers were fined for both the missile throwing AND sectarian chanting. You can argue until you are blue in the face (for want of a better term) but Fenian B****** is a sectarian term of abuse. Do you think that 99% if the peepel who use this term are aware of historical origins?

William, you and your ilk can try and re-write history over the internet to suit your own needs but until you admit there are severe problems at Ibrox and amongst a sizeable section of the Rangers fans then no progress is ever going to be made.

Just admit your blinding hatred of all things Celtic & Ireland and we can all go home (again for want of a better term).

William

Are you, a Rangers fan, at this time, SERIOUSLY bringing into this argument a RACIST incident which happened over 20 years ago, was sadly indicative of the time and has since been roundly condemned by Celtic fans.

But Rangers fans don't tolerate racism in any form, do they?

They also, apparently, don't do irony either

I do not support any paramilitary organisation and therefore cannot understand why anyone would opt to glorify indiscriminate murder of men women and children by planting bombs in city centres.

I think you will find that Celtic were also investigated by UEFA and i think you will find that Rangers were fined because of the missile thrown at the Villareal team bus, ask Phil or yourself why Rangers were investigated, he/you played a major part in it, Because as far as I am aware a fenian is not a religion or a race, A Glasgow Street gang of the early 20th century are not a religion or a race either, But put a couple of reporters with an obvious agenda together with a Roman Catholic UEFA observer from Hitler\'s homeland and as they say \"Bobs your uncle\"

oh and as a passing thought, what songs do Rangers fans sing, would you consider racist or sectarian ? Did you witness the treatment dished out to Mark Walters by Celtic fans

Rabies man,

I didn't claim for a second that BJK was racist/sectarian, I stated categorically that it was among the most sickening and vile chants ever used at a football match. You still cannot see that using the issue of child abuse as a cheap points scoring exercise over your hated rivals is somewhat nauseous?
The boy's club that the evil bastard Torbett ran was not even officially assimilated with Celtic, so where was the huge conspiracy cover-up supposed to have come into play? And how do you and your ilk know for your sure that Sir Jock Stein knew (he knew alright, he knew how put one over Rangers and mastermind a fantastic period of European success before any other British manager) anything about a matter happening outwith the club?

I fully appreciate the fact that you are so blinkered over the famine song that you cannot even comprehend how baffling your defence of it really is? You don't know what is racist about it? Where in the 'harmless we bit o' banter' does it say "This is an option only if you dislike Britain"? Again the subject of child abuse is brought up again in the chant. The worst of the Rangers fans seem to have a real fixation for singing about this horrid issue. I wonder why that could be? Freud would have a field day trying to work that one out.
BTW, where would you tell the Scotland fans who booed God Save The Queen to go? Where will you go when Scottish independence inevitably arrives?

I have yet to comprehend how 'Hun' is sectarian when every team in Scotland uses this term to describe Rangers fans. Enlighten me please.

The Nacho Novo chant which you refer to is not sung En masse as you might infer, it is sung by a handful of bampot drunken neds who don't know the first thing about Ireland and are ignorant of the fact that the IRA doen't actually exist anymore as a military unit. It is most certainly NOT belted out at home games wher decent fans would shout them out. Incidentally might I add it is a disgusting chant and has no place at Celtic Park or any other football ground. I, and the majority of Celtic fans, roundly CONDEMN the chant sung by an extreme minority.

I don't know how many games at Parkhead you actually attend, but can you give me an example of when you last heard "No Protestants At All" or "Die you O.B"? I can honestly hold my hand on my heart and say with certainty that I have never, ever heard them sung at Parkhead. That is not to say they may have been sung before my time, but I can absolutely guarantee that you will not hear these chants sung by the Celtic support, unsavoury elements or not.

Now, seeing as you seek clarification on what is racist/sectarian or not, can you please enlighten me (again!) as to what is racist/sectarian about "Go On Home British Soldiers"?
It's another argument/debate entirely about whether Rebel or IRA songs should be sung by an element of the Celtic support. It's a complex issue that even Celtic supporters cannot come to an agreement over. I think they should stick to pro-Celtic songs and the occasional Irish tune (but NOT Danny Boy!) myself and leave the other ditties to the pubs and bars but that is purely my personal opinion. Politically and whatever, I can certainly see why peepel like yourself William are apopleptic with rage over them. Yes, I understand fully you ire! But, just because you don't like it doesn't make it wrong! As you clearly abhor IRA chants, what is your position on UDA/UVF/UFF/whoever chants from Rangers supporters?

There is only ONE Scottish team wwho has been investigated, and fined, by UEFA for sectarian/racist singing. If you are waiting for UEFA to act over 'Terrorist' (one man's terrorist, etc.) chanting then you will be waiting a long time for them to prove it is racist/sectarian, despite the best efforts of some of the Scottish media to drag Celtic into it. Then again, it's all a Papist/UEFA conspiracy isn't it? And I thought we were meant to be the paranoid ones!

Better get back to work, and no, my name isn't Phil or Mr Lawwell.
