Phil,

Firstly as a first time poster, but long time reader, my immense appreciation for the work you do. Not just in connection with all things Celtic and those darker sides of Scottish football, but also the wider social reportage that you publish.

Im struck by your link to churnalism.com, this is obviously a well known site within journalism . Indeed the less scrupulous practitioners will make use of it to see just how much of the PR copy they have received they need to change to bypass its scrutiny.

Thanks again for all your investigations.

As much as you like to think Graham Speirs is a 'staunch' Rangers fan. This is not the case far from it, because he used to follow Rangers in his younger days (in this case)you are wrong. As much as I like your piece, that part is not journalism or fact.

Excellent piece about how the public in Scotland is failed by, at best lazy, at worst partisan "journalists". And if they won't report honestly on Rangers, on what else are they deceiving us? Disgraceful.

Phil,
'finally put the ball in the net' I take it you are expecting a barrage of own goals from Scotlands finest?
Another fine expose of the faillings of Scottish sports journalists. If only one had had the nose for a story he could have really made a name for himself, he would only have needed the ability to read your own writings, with an open mind, to see what was out there. The good thing is, of course, by ignoring the story they've left it much too late to help the team they all bow and scrape to. I'm enjoying reading your insightfull writings so much I'll actually be sorry when it's all over. Well maybe not if it means Rangers are 'all over'.
